Almeria airport is 9 kilometres to the east of the region's capital city, 500 metres from the coast on the gulf of Almeria and to the south of the Sierra Alhamilla. The towns the airport are El Alquian and Costacaban. Almería airport is located about 10 Kilometres east of the city on the N340 coast road (not the inland motorway).On arrival at the Airport you may take the local bus which travels to and fro from the town centre every half hour between 7am and 9pm, taxis are also available.
